생성(生成) - 운동이나 변화와 함께 정지(靜止) ·불변 ·존재에 대립하는 원리. 사물이 생겨나거나 누군가에 의해서 사물을 생기게 하는 것. 

새롭게 출현하고 사라진다는 의미에서 변화를 의미한다. 말하자면 세상이 계속 변화함을 의미하고 그런 생성과 소멸이 거듭되며 변화하는 세상 속에서 변하지 않는 것이다.
